• Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow sufficient time for check-in and preparation.
  • For your safety and to avoid complications during and after surgery, it is crucial not to eat or drink anything for 8 hours prior to your procedure. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the cancellation of your surgery, and additional charges may apply.
  • Before surgery, you may brush your teeth as usual. You can also rinse and spit with water, but please do not swallow it.
  • We require a responsible adult to accompany you to your appointment. They must stay in the waiting room during your surgery and should be prepared to take you home, preferably by car. For safety reasons, we do not recommend using public transportation. Please be advised that if your responsible adult is not present when you arrive for your surgery, the procedure may need to be cancelled, and additional charges may apply.
  • Following the surgery, it is essential not to drive a vehicle, operate hazardous machinery, or consume alcohol for a minimum of 18 hours, or longer if you experience drowsiness or dizziness.
  • We recommend wearing loose-fitting clothing and comfortable flat shoes for the procedure. If your clothing has sleeves, ensure that they can be rolled up past your elbows.
  • Before your surgery, please remove contact lenses, jewelry, and dentures. Additionally, avoid wearing lipstick, excessive makeup, or nail polish on the day of your surgery.
  • If you have any existing illnesses such as a cold, sore throat, stomach upset, or bowel issues, please notify our office in advance of your surgery.
  • If your surgeon has prescribed medication prior to your surgery, please make sure to take it as instructed. Unless told otherwise, continue taking your regular medications at the appropriate times, with a sip of water but without food.

Following these guidelines will help ensure a smooth and safe surgical experience. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office. We look forward to providing you with excellent care during your surgery.
