Pre-Surgery Preparations
- No food or drink after midnight before surgery.
- Consult our office for instructions on taking specific medications.
Post-Surgery Arrangements
- Arrange for an adult to accompany you home and stay with you.
- Your driver must remain in the office during your treatment.
Restrictions After Sedation
- Avoid driving, operating machinery, or making important decisions for 24 hours.
- Refrain from alcohol, sedatives, or tranquilizers.
- Seek guidance if unsure.
Preparation on the Day
- Bring names of prescribed medications and their bottles.
- Inform us of any health changes or symptoms prior to surgery.
- Avoid wearing contact lenses.
- Wear an open-neck, short-sleeve shirt and avoid makeup, nail polish, and jewelry.
General Anesthesia Requirements
- Schedule a pre-surgical examination with your family physician at least five days before surgery.
- Bring the examination report on the day of surgery.
Pregnancy Notification
- Immediately inform us if you suspect pregnancy.
